Rex Resolution 10: Amok

Amok. In Russian. Not such good quality but the only YouTube of Amok I could find.

This is the episode that has the biggest Recycling Rex event of all. Before Gedeon Burkhard morphed into Brandtner, he went on a murderous rampage in this episode.

Moser chest shots replaced this time by gratuitous shots of Gedeon. Can anyone say chest wax?

Pre-Kommissar days, Gedeon is Stephan Lanz, swinger who seems somewhat surprised that his fellow swingees might not have stuck to the agreed rule not to play away. Hospitalised following a traffic accident, Stephan discovers that an HIV test has come back positive and starts knocking off his fellow swingers one by one.

With two murders, one attempted murder under his belt, you have to marvel at the rehabilitation wonder worked by the Austrian prison service. Murderer to Kommissar. Very impressive!

Other points of interest: Stocki's 12 cm stomach operation scar gains another mention.

Other players include Uwe Kroeger and Erika Deutinger, for whom this episode is not listed on IMDB.

One of the most famous Recycled Rexers, Gedeon Burkhard, as Stephan Lanz, and also Anne Kasprik, here as Sylvia Hohenberg and, later, as Diana Markus in Moerderische Leidenschaft (1996) and Herbert Foettinger, whose appearance here is not listed in IMDB but also appears later in Das Testament (1999) as Walter Stift.
