Rex Resolution 11: Flucht in den Tod

A word to the wise. If anyone offers you a cheap trip from Russia to Austria, REFUSE. I kid-ney you not. Ha. I know. Awful joke to match the awful, stomach-churning plot.

This episode starts off with a real stiff (frozen to death) and revolves around organ trade (and, no, I'm not talking musical instruments). Fleeing Russians are heavily sedated under the guise of a vaccination shot and end up having their kidneys removed. Probably not a poster program for organ donation!

However, trying to solve the mystery of the original frozen body gives Moser a chance to pick up a girl on a bike who, conveniently, also has a German Shepherd to which Rex appears to take a shine.

Having tracked down the baddies, Moser unfortunately takes a bullet in what seems to be the kidney area. Synchronicity! Locked away bleeding in a cellar, will Rex save the day before he bleeds to death and stuffs up plans for Series 2?

Do we really need to ask?

Other players include Ralph Herforth as Steiner, Adi Hirschall as Bernecker, Ralf Weikinger as Dr. Klein, Haymon Maria Buttinger (episode not listed in IMDB) and Petra van Morze (episode not listed in IMDB).
