Rex Resolution 15:Stumme Schreie

One of the stars of this episode is the Prater, although when you find out what goes on, you might think twice about sending your small child into one of the attractions alone. Children are vanishing mysteriously, ending up being abused for pornographic video purposes, before being released.

Unfortunately, one time something goes wrong and a child ends up dead. With few clues to go on, Moser tries to get information from one of the surviving victims. Sadly, the child is severely traumatised and unresponsive. Step in therapist Rex. Vienna might be the home of psychotherapy thanks to Freud, but Rex therapy wins hands down.

This episode also introduces Moser's new girlfriend, vet Sonya (one way to get cheap treatment)and his new house, which later becomes home to Brandtner.

Other players include Beate Jensen above as Dr. Schiller, Alexandra Sommerfeld above, not credited in IMDB, Victoria Canestrini, not listed with IMDB at all, Viktor Gernot, not credited in IMDB, and Rudolf Bissegger, also not credited in IMDB.

More Recycled Rexers with Henry Meyer, uncredited here with IMDB, but appearing later in Das Millionenpferd (2000) as Arthur Stein and, of course, Daniela Gaets above, Moser's new schmooze Sonya, appearing in a total of 7 episodes, including this for which she is uncredited in IMDB, Toedliche Verfuehrung (1995), Der maskierte Tod (1995), Gefaehrliche Jagd (1995), Tod eines Kindes (1995), Im Zeichen des Satans (1995), Duft der Todes (1995) and Toedliche Dosis (1986), after which she disappears off to the U.S. to pursue her career, leaving Moser to date a forensic psychologist....and we all know how that ends.
