Rex kaputt

I now have all 8 series of Rex.

Finally able to compete with SBS with endless Rex reruns, only without the annoying ads. and plugs for upcoming shows over the subtitles. Can't imagine how frustrating that is for non-German speakers.

So life should be as tasty as a fresh Wurstsemmel, huh? Aber nein, nein, nein.

Every series of the DVD comes with at least one substandard DVD. Screen pixeling (and not just to cover Moser's naughty bits), more skips than Skippy the Bush Kangeroo. THe latest purchase is just the same. At $60 a pop...it just don't cut it. Knew there was a major problem with Series 1 but the rest? Anyone else experiencing this? Hey, anyone even reading this?
